Troubleshooting Issues

My Prescription Seems Off, What Do I Do?

Sometimes when you receive a new prescription after wearing a certain prescription for a long while, it can feel weird or off when you first wear your prescription. This feeling can also occur with large changes in prescriptions. We recommend wearing your glasses for at least 2-3 days to a week in your everyday life. Start with them in the early morning to allow your eyes to adjust to the prescription. In our experience, 9 times out of 10 after a few days your eyes will adjust to the new prescription and you should be good to go. If you are still having issues, feel free to reach out to our support team at support@knockaround.com and we can look into this further.

How Do I Know If My Glasses Fit Securely?

Your glasses should sit evenly on your face, resting comfortably on your nose and behind your ears. If a pair of prescription glasses sits unevenly or too close/far from your face, it can affect your vision. If you are unsure, we recommend bringing your glasses to your local optical retailer.

I Am Having A Hard Time With Eye Strain When Wearing My New Glasses?

Keep in mind there is an adjustment period that may occur when getting a new pair of prescription glasses. After a few wearings, if you are still having issues we recommend heading to a local optical retailer for verification or an eye doctor for a re-check on your prescription.

My Glasses Are Touching My Cheeks?

If the bridge is too wide for the customer, it will sit low on their face. Unfortunately, there is not much to be done for a bridge width issue than to choose another frame.
