Polycarbonate lenses can handle stronger prescriptions with lenses approximately 30% thinner and lighter than plastic alternatives to keep your glasses from weighing you down. Polycarbonate lenses come with the best impact resistance of any lens and make the perfect lens for active adults or children. Polycarbonate lenses have UV protection and a scratch guard built right into the lens.

Are Your Prescription Lenses Scratch Proof?
Our polycarbonate lenses have UV protection and a scratch guard built right into the lens, but with this being said they are not "scratch proof". The guard helps reduce scratches that may occur, but they will not be immune to scratching.
